Pixel Resolution Imaging in Parallel Phase-Shifting Digital Holography

Parallel phase-shifting digital holography (PPSDH) employing a polarization image sensor can suppress zero-order and twin-image noise through single exposure, achieve instantaneous measurement of complex-valued dynamic objects, have broad applications in the areas biomedicine, etc. To improve imaging resolution PPSDH, we propose an oversampled super-pixel reconstruction method, which be expressed as implementation nearest-neighbor interpolation to replace blank pixels sparse sub-phase-shift holograms. We found experimentally that maximum spatial lateral reconstructed based on existing B-spline, bicubic, bilinear, proposed was 12.4 µm, 11.4 9.8 8.8 7.8 respectively. The main reason for not reaching ideal value 6.9 µm inherent residual noise, needs removed future.
